Why Google Buying Motorola's $ 12.5 Billion







This is a great asset for Google to struggling with Apple, Microsoft, Oracle.
Internet business giant, Google Inc.., Agreed to buy Motorola's Mobility worth U.S. $ 12.5 billion. It's none other than Google's ambition to meet to win the competition after a successful business smart phone with Android programs in a number of their partners products.

Financial Times, the deal makes Google have direct access to more than 17,000 patents held by Motorola and 7,500 other patents that are still in the process. This is a great asset for Google to struggling with Apple, Microsoft, Oracle, and others in the legal disputes related to control of copyright in computer technology and communications.

Google's acquisition of Motorola's Mobility is expected to be completed by the end of this year or early 2012. Since early 2011, Motorola split in two. Motorola Mobility focuses on the mobile phone business, while Motorola Solutions concentrates on communications technology to corporate customers and governments.

One of the founders of Google, Larry Page, is optimistic that a deal with Motorola Mobility will provide a super power for the development of Android. Google's software creations are a mainstay number of products renowned smart phone that competes with Apple Inc. and RIM, namely Samsung, HTC, LG and others.

However, with the latest deal, Google is now also ambitious to get into the smart phone market. According to BBC news stations, the contract was made Mobilty Motorola's stock price on Wall Street on Monday afternoon local time soared 56 percent to U.S. $ 38.13 per share. But Google's stock price actually fell 1.8 percent.
